Is Quad or Crew Best for Me?

When you're looking for a powerful, capable pickup, the Ram 1500 is the clear winner. However, not every part of truck shopping is so cut and dry. You may have heard about "quad cabs," and "crew cabs." Just what exactly is the difference between the two, and how do you know which one is best? It all depends on what you need most in a truck.

Crew cabs:

Crew cabs excel at carrying people. While both cab styles have a back seat, the back seat in a crew cab is much more comfortable. It has more room for passengers, and even has armrests. The larger back seat has larger back doors, making getting in and out easier.

Quad cabs:

Quad cabs have a smaller back seat. This understandably makes the back less comfortable for passengers. However, it also makes the truck lighter, which helps boost mpg. It also means that quad cab trucks are usually cheaper than crew cabs, especially with our global incentives. Since the back seat is smaller, quad cab trucks have a larger bed, making them better for hauling cargo.
